Convention stamp set - I am...

One of the many perks of attending the annual Stampin' Up! convention is the opportunity to come home with a convention-attendee only stamp set.  This year's set is called I Am...

This is a great set to make fun, uplifting cards or projects for special people in your life. Yesterday I was the recipient of such a card using this limited edition set. My friend and fellow demonstrator, Stacey Cogswell, made me this awesome card:

I am

The Floral District DSP is one of my favorite paper packs in the Stampin' Up! catalog.  Bright, cheery colors with easy-to-use designs makes this DSP pack suitable for so many occasions.  The sentiment came from the I Am Stamp Set.

Interested in attending Convention with me next July so you too can get your own special edition stamp set? Convention is open to any active demonstrator and it is experience you will never forget.  I would love to have you join my Ink Happens! team. Twitterpated fabric tote

I'm not a seamstress by any means, but I do enjoy the occasional rendezvous with my sewing machine. Making simple projects with Stampin' Up! fabric is even more exciting with bright and fun fabric that is now being offered.

While at convention a few weeks ago, I met up with my friend and upline, Pennie McCallum.  She made this adorable fabric tote that she calls the, "Hold Something Bag".  Cute, huh?  It's a very simple pattern but it makes such a statement! Even the flower embellishment is made with fabric and then topped with a coordinating button.

Wouldn't this be a great hostess gift?  Consider making some coordinated all-occasion cards with the matching Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (#125406) for a real impact!

Stampin' Up! offers a selection of exclusive designs and colors you love in a line of high-quality designer fabrics. You don't have to be a seamstress--or even like to sew--to enjoy using Designer Fabric! The colors and patterns in the Designer Fabrics are designed to coordinate perfectly with Stampin' Up! inks, card stock, Designer Series Paper, and other accessories, and are perfect for adding a stylish touch to traditional paper projects. If you do enjoy sewing, however, the beauty and high quality of Designer Fabric, available in an extra-wide fat quarter (18" x 26"), makes it perfect for use in quilting, clothing, home décor, or any other project you can think of. To see the complete line of Stampin' Up! fabric, please click here.

And finally, here is a picture of Pennie and me at Convention.  We only get to see each other at Stampin' Up! functions and it's always nice to reconnect with her.

Thanks for the cute tote, Pennie!

Have a GREAT day!

Convention 2012 Highlights

I have a double post for you today (I know, that never happens with me!).  Stampin' Up! released their Convention Highlights video and I wanted to share it with you. It gives you a tiny glimpse into what happens at convention with thousands of stampers.

This year's theme is I AM...(fill in the blank).  You'll hear the catchy theme song in the background.

Take a peek at the lip dub video too! The theme song was performed by SU employees at the home office.  Get ready to tap your toes!
