I know, I know...it's been a long time since I've posted.  I've had a few things I've needed to take care of.  I can't get over how many of you have called or emailed me saying, "What's wrong?  You haven't posted in xx days, there must be something wrong."  Wow, who knew that the absence of a few posts could generate so much concern?  Thanks to all of you who have checked in on me.  My hope is to not have so much time go by between future posts. 

I'm currently involved in a swap with a few other demonstrators.  We are to use new stamp sets that will be released in the next mini catalog called the Occasions mini catalog.  This mini is scheduled to run from March 1 through May 31.  There is a lot of diversity in these stamp sets so I'm sure there is something for everyone.  The stamp set that I was chosen to use is called Live Your Dreams.  It's a set of 8 and will retail for $30.95.  Great set with a lot of versatility.  This swap required the participants to make three (3) projects with the set we were assigned.  I made two cards and a 3-D item.  The cards are to be "demonstratable" which means that we should be able to duplicate the card at a workshop.  This meant that I really needed to be careful not to over indulge in accessories or time-comsuming cuts.  Overall, I think I did okay.  My 3-D project is a tea bag holder.  This was inspired by a swap I got several months ago from a Regional seminar I attended.  The "pillow case" pouch was purchased from www.clearbags.com .  I wrapped new designer paper called Afternoon Tea around it and added Groovy Guava ribbon to tie the colorn scheme together.  Take a look for yourself...
